Ten foot BIG is a unique, acoustic rock band from Cincinnati, OH. A bold blend of persussion, piano, acoustic guitar, and bass make it hard to stop moving while listening to them play. Ten foot BIG has been compared to the likes of Guster, Ben Folds, and Barenaked Ladies. The band has been together for a little over four years and has just released their first CD.
Todd began his musical career in high school, when he started to haunt local coffee houses. After high school he formed an acoustic duo, which eventually morphed into what is now known as Ten foot BIG.
Todd's strong, raspy voice is the cornerstone of the TfB sound. His strong, raspy brain is the cornerstone of the Ten foot BIG originals - his lyrics are featured in every one!
Theo began his musical career with an acoustic guitar, but decided to switch gears and focus on the bass. Wait, that's not true - he started on the clarinet, then moved to the guitar, and THEN picked up the bass.
This vast musical background contributes to Theo's playing style, which we like to call "sweet." His low-end grooves and melodic fills are a big reason why it's hard to sit still when you listen to Ten foot BIG.
"Jimmy on the keys" was the last member added to the Ten foot BIG family. He developed an ear for the piano at an early age, and has played in a variety of bands throughout his long, musical career.
Jimmy was also a member of the Miami University Men's Glee Club. Somehow, "glee club" means "men's chorus." Don't you think they should have just gone with "men's chorus" or "choir" or something like that?

John is the guy you see bouncing every which way (but loose) behind a wall of drums and percussion. He seems to have a toy for every little sound that anyone would ever want to make! His unique setup allows him to easily switch from bongos and congas over to his snare drum and cymbals without missing a beat. He's the reason you get your back up off the wall. Dance, come on.
