Ten foot BIG: Press

Ten Foot Big is a fun band to go see live. These guys make sure everyone in the place is up and having a good time. These guys will play a large amount of popular music and will hit something that everybody will enjoy. Most of the music Ten Foot Big plays is going to be along the Dave Matthews Band type of stuff. However, Ten Foot Big will even slip in some acoustic rap songs. And let me tell you, The Cambo greatly appreciates this. Not only do they do some of Snoop Doggs Gin and Juice, they do it well. Ten Foot Big also will do a couple of other popular rap songs in an acoustic way and it is something you need to hear for yourself. However, most of their music is going to be what most people would call 'alternative/top 40' stuff. That is fine too, because these guys to an excellent job at this as well. The few times The Cambo has seen these guys live, the crowd is always having a great time. People are always up and dancing, and there are usually some pretty hot women who are at their shows, another strong plus for these guys. Hey, these guys are just plain fun and besides putting on a good show they are good guys. So if you want to go out and have a good time with a fun band, these guys will not disappoint.

... “The last few years I was in college I worked full-time at this little Irish pub for one of the greatest men alive, the father of many, on top of working part-time at another job. Then it was the spooky work. I finally started having a really great time there when the music got better a few months before I graduated college. We got a digital jukebox and new bands started playing, like Ten Foot Big, who ended every night with Crazy Game of Poker. Every single night I would jump up right in front leaving the bartenders who weren’t busy anyways dancing with a kindred soul, this song that just seemed to pick me up and let me float in the sky. I almost cried, but didn’t when I looked up the lyrics online because I never could understand the band when they sang the chorus and thought of the day when I was eight and did cry when I had to sing Little Drummer Boy with a group of kids in music class. I was staring right at the teacher and tears were flowing from my eyes, I didn’t know why, and I didn’t care if anyone next to me saw me or made fun of me. ...
